Many people come for weight loss hypnotherapy because they believe that they have no willpower. They say: 'I just seem to feel hungry all the time..' or 'If I just had enough willpower I could lose weight.' Often they believe I am the person who will be able to give them that magic bullet that will break the habit. Sometimes I am able to do this. But most of the time, overeating is often a symptom of something deeper. Just like the alcoholic, the overeater is often craving for the next 'fix'; only the poison is not alcohol - it is food.
